Why write?

I used to write on a site called helium. Due to a number of reasons, I stopped doing so. I will write about this some other time on this blog. In the mean time, I am committed to transferring my articles from there to here. Time constraints will make this a longer process than could be.

I am starting this blog as a way to raise some awareness to my writing on helium. Helium is a site that invites aspiring writers to contribute articles on a given subject (although I haven’t counted them, there must be hundreds, if not thousands of subjects to choose from). Other writers rate your articles by comparing them to the ones written by others on the same subject. Moreover, every unique visit to your article is rewarded with one dollarcent.My screen name on Helium is writer wannabe. I have written six articles until now and plan on contributing more with time. In the mean time, I will post fragments on this blog. Let me know what you think about them!
